G O A L !!!

Huzzah!

Today… I reached my weight goal I set out for myself when I computed a normal weight for someone my age, my size. I added up the weight of my bones, what my organs and skin probably weigh, and a “healthy fat” number. Now that I’m here, I’m continuing to try to get to a “size” number. I talked about this in the last post. The last time I was a size 10, it was 1992.

Years ago, I started a blog called, “Fat American in France.” It was meant to be a planning travel blog with a lot of self-deprecating humor. I wrote a few posts there, and may return to it. I will rename it. It’s almost like a dream that I am not that person anymore— that imposter who occupied my physical frame.

From here, it’s all– downhill. I’m happy with how I look today, but if I can continue to get physically strong as well as reach my size 10 dream, then every day after today is a special bonus.

I recently wrote a song called, “The Easy Way.” The story is mostly about technology advancements that have made my life wonderfully easier and enjoyable. I will include the GLP-1s in that STEM basket of goodies. Science and Technology continue to improve our lives. I am here for it.

If you’ve been a longtime reader of this blog, again, I will heartily thank you. Even though I haven’t gotten many comments on this blog, I do appreciate that I had readers and that someone may have been inspired or empathetic while I’ve been on this weight loss journey. I’ll probably keep writing here from time to time.

For now, I wanted to finally tie this up in a pretty goal-achieving bow. It’s been a quite a ride.

What do you think?
